n 2012–2013 I studied in the Fine Art program at the British Higher School of Art & Design (Moscow). This was a period when I worked mainly with objects, spatial installations, and materiality — foam, metal, films, textures. I was interested in surfaces, tensions between materials, and their behaviour in space. Many intuitive decisions from that time later shifted into my photography: fragmentation, scale displacement, non-human optics, and the absence of a center.
